Panchchuli
Munsyari-Thal Road
The Panchchuli peaks are a group of five snow-capped Himalayan summits that form the defining skyline of Munsiyari. Ranging in altitude from $6,334\text{ m}$ to $6,904\text{ m}$, they are deeply rooted in local mythology as the "five hearths" where the Pandavas cooked their final meal. The peaks offer a spectacular visual experience, especially during sunrise and sunset when the snow turns a brilliant gold, making them the primary reason travelers visit this remote corner of Kumaon.
